New Schedule Begins October 5

On Monday, October 5, a new CTrail Shore Line East schedule will go into effect, adding four new weekday trains, a new connection with Metro-North’s Super Express service, shorter gaps between trains in both directions, and adjustments to several existing train numbers and departure/arrival times. If you currently ride Shore Line East, please check the updated schedule at ShoreLineEast.com, as some train numbers and times have changed.

These changes come directly from what customers told us, through the CTrail Shore Line East customer satisfaction survey and in conversations with our train and customer service staff. Two new trains will run eastbound from New Haven to New London, and two new trains will run westbound from New London to New Haven.

New Eastbound Trains

• CTrail 1628: Departs New Haven Union Station 2:55 p.m., arrives New London 4:05 p.m.
• CTrail 1640: Departs New Haven Union Station 5:55 p.m., arrives New London 7:05 p.m.

New Westbound Trains

• CTrail 1683: Departs New London 4:40 p.m., arrives New Haven Union Station 5:49 p.m.
• CTrail 1693: Departs New London 7:28 p.m., arrives New Haven Union Station 8:37 p.m.
