OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY FOR EVERYONE

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is committed to improving the experience for all travelers on CTrail Shore Line East. CTDOT has been and will continue working with stakeholders, community leaders, and accessibility advocates to ensure that CTrail Shore Line East provides ongoing access for all.

Train Stations

All trains and stations are handicapped accessible. Our stations feature level boarding, elevators, visual and audible messaging systems, and monitors displaying arrival times. Train personnel are also available to assist in boarding.

CTrail Shore Line East Assistance

Passengers with disabilities using a mobility device are encouraged to call 1-877-287-4337 at least 24 hours before travel to request boarding assistance.

Amtrak Assistance

Customers who are riding an Amtrak cross-honor train and require special accommodations must call Amtrak customer service at 1-800-USA-RAIL for further assistance.
