Special Service for July 12 Fireworks in New London
Looking for a fun summer day trip or family night out? The largest fireworks display in Connecticut will return to New London on Saturday, July 12th, and CTrail Shore Line East is the easiest way to get there.
While Sailfest won’t be taking place this year, the fireworks show is still on, and it’s the perfect chance to plan a relaxing day or evening in New London. Enjoy the shops, grab a bite by the water, or explore local attractions before ending the night with an unforgettable show.
To help you enjoy the evening without the hassle of traffic or parking, we have plenty of train service to get you there throughout the day. CTrail Shore Line East Train 3663 will operate on a modified schedule to accommodate the return trip from the fireworks. Times and details for this special return train are as follows:
- The NEW departure time from New London will be 10:30 p.m.
- The train will stop at all stations at these adjusted times:
- New London: 10:30 p.m.
- Old Saybrook: 11:06 p.m.
- Westbrook: 11:10 p.m.
- Clinton: 11:15 p.m.
- Madison: 11:20 p.m.
- Guilford: 11:25 p.m.
- Branford: 11:34 p.m.
- New Haven State Street: 11:44 p.m.
- New Haven Union Station: 11:50 p.m.
If you are connecting to Metro-North, Train 6573 will be held to accommodate passengers from CTrail Shore Line East Train 3663.
