EFFECTIVE JULY 27, 2020: Cash ticket sales have resumed on board CTrail Shore Line East trains. However, cash transactions remain suspended at ticket windows. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets prior to boarding using the CTrail eTix app (available for Android and Apple iOS mobile devices). CTrail Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) are also available at State Street Station and New Haven Union Station.
Shore Line East tickets are not available for purchase at State Street Station, and instead can be bought with the CTrail
eTix app. Metro-North tickets are for sale at the station ticket kiosk. For more information on Metro-North ticket types and fares please call 1-877-690-5114 (within CT), or dial 511 (within NY state).
All trains and stations are handicapped accessible.
New Haven State Street Station is equipped with bicycle racks, pick-up, and drop-off areas, as well as a pedestrian bridge for easy accessibility to the Track 4 and Track 6 platform. All trains and stations are handicapped accessible. Track 1 is on the side closest to the street and station entrance. Track 4 is the middle track, and Track 6 is the furthest from the station entrance, sharing an island platform with Track 4.
BUS SUBSTITUTION INFORMATION:
All CTrail Shore Line East bus substitutions will pick up and drop off passengers in front of State Street Station.
No parking is available at State Street Station. Parking is available approximately one-half mile away at 360 State Street. Please visit www.elmcityparking.com for further information.
